I had to replace the power antenna, but only because I broke it driving past an overgrown branch. (This will teach me how to prune trees!) I bought this as a spare; It turned out to be identical to my old one. One very important warning: when installing, DO NOT switch ON until you have screwed on the nut on top that secures it to your vehicle! If the nut is not present, the antenna will completely detach from the case and it will be almost impossible to put it back together. It can be done, but it will cost you hours of frustration.
