The shoes are great and I recommend them. Fits as expected. I bought the black ones and they are cute and comfy. I think they are best for winter, fall and spring. Once you get into your 80s and up, they can get hot. But they keep my feet warm when I ride in 40 degree weather. They're a bit heavier than shoes, so if you want something really light and well-ventilated, they're not for you. I find they offer good protection. I don't know how waterproof they are yet, I haven't been in heavy rain. Generally good shoes.
