A near-perfect lens. Spicy. The color is accurate. The contrast is wonderful. The depth is great. The build quality feels excellent. The packaging is beautiful. The light intensity is sufficient and quiet - better than some of my Fuji lenses. The price is reasonable. The only downside: no aperture ring. This means that when connected to my Fuji XT3, it uses auto iris by default. Every time I put it back on I have to open the diaphragm all the way. Focus is periodically lost at random times. Sometimes seems to stop communicating with my camera for about a minute. I'll give it a pause and try again in a few minutes and it will work great. I don't know exactly why this problem occurs. It doesn't even allow me to focus manually when this happens.
