Review on Lisle 71500 Exhaust Manifold Template by Mike Groover

I don't check what I buy until I use it so it took a while. works fine for the design but I recommend buying extra bits. My buddy used this on his 2003 5.4 F-150 last week and said it works great. In the past I've trimmed the legs to make them shorter, removed the motor mount, and raised the motor slightly to get a better drilling angle. I have 3 of these motors my dad has 2 and my brother has 2 not to mention a lot of people i know with them so they have a lot of uses. Seems to be very well made, like all Lisle instruments I've bought over the years. UPDATE, I used it today on an expedition in 2001 and the cheap Chinese drill bit broke down the hole the first time I used it and the drill guide wears out on one side pretty quickly so you won't. There were many bolts with it, I had to unscrew 6 out of 8, and the weld nuts worked on 2, but I had to drill the other 4. Luckily I had Kimball Midwest bits which my buddy put in there for a month after use or else I'd make a trip to the hardware store. I am very disappointed that Lisle put such cheap crap in their name, I have always had good experiences with this brand.
