These brackets come in packs of two and are used to attach a motorcycle or ATV to a trailer. I used them for both. If you want to use them on an ATV, you need to purchase an additional package. 4 straps are required to properly secure the ATV. I go to some motorcycle events and like to hitchhike because my wife can't ride long distances. I used tie down straps to secure the bikes with no problems. The hooks are rubber coated so they don't scratch the bike or trailer. They have a built in loop that lengthens the tie down straps and also prevents damage to the paintwork and chrome finish. To increase the tension, pull the strap and adjust to the desired tension. There is a "PUSH" button that releases the lever when you're ready to unhook the bike or ATV. They are simple and easy to use. Just a word of caution, they are recommended for weights up to 500 pounds. Be sure to use perks for cargo that weighs more.
