S hooks on both ends

With steel hooks on both ends. In the description I was told that one end is soft (no hook). You can loop at one end to create a soft connector. I'm looking for ties with Velcro on the other end. The quality seems to be good.

Pros
  • Cool
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

Great tie for quadriceps!

I have a Polaris Sportsman 500 and a Triton 10' snowmobile trailer and they are my favorite bindings. While the ratcheting action is more secure (and more difficult to manage), 4 of them is more than enough in the corners of an 800-pound quad. Also, the "soft tie" feature keeps the metal hooks off my quad and will not damage/wear off the paint. I've tried many ties over the years - this one keeps coming back.

Pros
  • Well built
Cons
  • Ok, but...

Video shows the straps in action and the buckle design

There are so many different straps to choose from: ratchet, loop, long and short. These are friction straps, not ratchet straps, meaning they're good for when you need something firm. but not quite. And these are not loops, but hooks at both ends. Please note that you have to thread the straps through the bottom hole, which is not very easy. but gives a good connection. These are pretty basic belts, with no padding under the buckles or anything like that. But they do their job.

Pros
  • Top marks for fit and durability from testers
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Good relationships. Work well.

I have four quads and am always looking for decent bindings. They're easy to use and pretty decent. When using them I didn't feel like the quads would slide out. My quads range from 90cc Polaris to 250cc Honda. I need something to make sure these things don't slide out of my rear window like other ties have done before. The ties are easy to use and I love how they feel. My only issue is that they are only 8 feet. I wish they were longer. That's my fault, not the product. All in all, these are…

Working Great Holding Kayak on Roof

This set of brackets held the kayak securely on cushions on the roof of our Mazda during the 600 mile round trip. Additional straps were used front and rear to minimize buoyancy. These straps were the main attachment points. The strap itself is thicker than the zip ties we have previously used on the kayak and the locking mechanism worked great and didn't slip. Coated S-Hooks are a great solution - many chipping and dents on your car's paintwork can be avoided with these straps. I can't speak…

Pros
  • Great Construction
Cons
  • Some Flaws

Good tie in accessories

These ties are strong and durable. I didn't notice any slipping. The instructions state that the tie will slip off if it is inserted into the buckle in the wrong direction. So you have to be careful with it. The buckle has markings showing in which direction. A good tug shows whether you have done everything right. It was a bit difficult to get the tie through the buckle but we managed it in the end. The "soft binding" of each tie is achieved by a loop at the back that allows you to wrap the…

You will need a second pack for your ATV

These brackets come in packs of two and are used to attach a motorcycle or ATV to a trailer. I used them for both. If you want to use them on an ATV, you need to purchase an additional package. 4 straps are required to properly secure the ATV. I go to some motorcycle events and like to hitchhike because my wife can't ride long distances. I used tie down straps to secure the bikes with no problems. The hooks are rubber coated so they don't scratch the bike or trailer. They have a built in loop…
