I have a fairly large head (baseball cap runs large) and this hat fits my head size perfectly. However, some empty space remained at the top of the screen, which made my head look weird. Also, to cover my ears, I had to pull it up to my eyebrows and to the bottom of my skull. Whenever I looked up or turned my head back, the hat lifted and exposed my ears. I knew I wasn't embroidering an actual pattern, but it wasn't until she stood in front of me that I realized it was so obvious. The bottom of the hat, which looks like it's rolled up, is also fake and sewn on, so it can't be adjusted. The main seam is very noticeable. The hat is comfortable and very warm. It's not bad for the price, but the description doesn't say anything about sewing on a hidden butt. If I could adjust that, the rest of the hat would fit better. I had to go back.
