Bought two 64GB versions due to small size. I have a 64GB SanDisk USB 3.0 flash drive to boot Linux from a MacBook Air, but I wanted something smaller. and all i can say is that the performance on this drive is really bad, reads and writes seem to be intermittent. An old 2GB PNY USB 2.0 flash drive will work much better than this one. The ID of this device is 13fe:6300 which is defined as Kingston in case this info is useful. The SanDisk Ultra CZ48 64GB USB 3.0 Flash Drive (slower) running Linux that this new drive was meant to replace is top notch, boots up in seconds and opens apps like an SSD hard drive, while this mini the Pny (Kingston) drive does more than a minute to start the desktop and minutes to open applications, it is inferior to a mechanical hard drive. I didn't open the second one because I can return it.
