Turn any nylon halter into a breakaway halter

I bought these to convert my regular nylon halter into a breakaway halter. I do not feel comfortable tying my horse to a nylon halter for safety reasons. Simply cut off a piece of nylon and replace that piece! I put a drop of CA on the screw before screwing it in, although I had never done this before, the screw worked loose and the halter fell off my horse.
