This is better than the other 2 I've tried. Works with ESP-01 and ESP-01. Has an extra connector so you can plug it into the breadboard when plugged into the ESP-01(s) - sooooo handy (although I wish they were on opposite sides. No need to unplug and plug it back in Plug program in. I don't think you need to press the reset button, it just works - programs will then reset and you can connect by serial number.The one I tried (black with yellow plug from MakerFocus) didn't program You must solder the GPIO to GND to get into programming mode.I soldered the button in but it was jittery and imperfect.Another one I tried (Red with Yellow connector from WishIOT) has a switch , which helped switch from programming mode to serial mode. which actually jumpered the GPIO to GND. Software headache, but HW just works.)
