My glass mat arrived deformed so when you try to make something on it it wobbles, making it impossible to work accurately. It was packaged very poorly in a large box with no packing material, which may have been part of the problem. I asked for a replacement in the hope that it would be a fluke as I look forward to using it for many many artistic and craft purposes and it is just right for my space. If the replacement arrives in usable condition, I'll increase the stars in my rating. 7-29-19 UPDATE: The replacement is an improvement but still has some instability issues. I find this pretty easy to fix. Due to the placement of non-stick feet, The entire pane of glass bends towards the center under strong pressure. I find that strategically placed thick cardboard sliding from the bottom provides stability. It doesn't require much thickness. If you purchased Home Depot magnetic vent covers to store your stamps, the cardboard included in these packages is perfect for sliding under the mat. It's very dense, about a millimeter thick. It goes from the 3/4" mark to almost the 9" mark, which means I need another 3/4" wide piece to go under the entire rug. I plan to cover them completely in contact paper so they can get wet without falling apart and are washable. The cardboard does not affect the legs, so they continue to do their excellent job of holding the glass in place. I am very happy.
