Beef protein powders tend to produce less foam and less gas than whey protein, so I've tried different beef protein powders. suitable for use in smoothies, and the batter is fairly harmless (not very chocolatey, but not super artificial either). However, the smell is absolutely terrible. It literally smells like a real cow when you open the container. You can mask the smell as it mixes into the smoothie, but between opening the container and actually blending it, I have to do my best not to breathe through my nose. If you don't mind or like the smell of real cows, this is a good buy. If you want to prevent the room from smelling willow when using it, I would avoid this product.
