Color looked better in picture
I liked the feel of these bowls and they are a nice depth versus with ratio for versatility of serving, very plate like but still a bowl.But the color is like 1970s earth stone.In the original picture that I saw the blue was a deep clean blue and the interior was white – modern looking.In person the blue was muted and grainy, earthy, and the interior was a stony beige. A good value for the money for most people but I am very particular about what I’m looking for.
- these bowls are lovely and durable. they add a lovely presentation for pasta , salads or clams.
- The bowls may not be suitable for serving other types of foods, such as soup or stew
