I can't give this product 5 stars because I don't believe there is such a thing as a perfect litter box. Like it or not, nobody likes to mess around with the tablet. However, out of the 10 different brands of litter I have tried, this one works the best for my cats. I needed a non-clumping litter for my scoopless automatic litter box and have tried several other crystal litters and failed. Prescious Cat is the least dusty of any crystalline litter I've used, which is very important for my asthmatic cat. This brand has small kibble that is softer on my cat's paws but has a large enough surface area to be effectively absorbed. Attractant really helps my picky elder to go about her business in the box instead of next to it. Like any crystal litter, it needs to be stirred daily to prevent urine from pooling at the bottom of the box. This litter is strewn all around him on the floor, but unlike other litters, I don't find him in my bed or on the couch, which is a huge plus. I probably wouldn't recommend Prescious Cat if your litter box is in a bathroom or other humid place, as absorbency can be compromised. Another thing I criticize about the packaging is that I don't like bulky plastic jars, the foil is difficult to remove from the lid and the plastic around the spout is very sharp. But the cons don't outweigh the cons for me. I will continue to buy this litter.
