Review on ๐Ÿ DOS22S 22 Ounce 18 Inch Smooth Dead by Mike Modesto

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Dead On of course, but also face to face.

I wrote a review on this hammer a few years ago but for some reason it is no longer here. I originally bought this hammer in 2013. My review explains how one day the face of the hammer broke when I drove a 16P galvanized nail into a really strong PT rendering the hammer completely useless as a hammer. It was quite a dangerous situation because the clubface was thrown off on the backswing after almost flying off on contact with a nail. I liked the hammer up to this point, but the bottleneck between the racquet and the grip is a design flaw. I know I spoke to a support rep either here or via email because I remember well they didn't offer a replacement. I went back to my old hammer and have been using it ever since. I bought a new one for the first time today and it's been about 4 years since Dead On's hammer broke. I don't know why my review isn't here even though the site shows my 2013 bill. It's amazing how the face broke. the hammer is now twice as expensive! Crazy. and also. I don't risk anything.
