I bought the medium for our daughter. She is 5ft 3in, about 120#, small waist, about 25in. Tried on before sending. I'm 5ft 2in, 130#, waist around 27in. It fit me perfectly but was a little loose in the thigh. So I ordered and sent a small one for the Liberty. It fits her well and allows for a sweater underneath. Although it is short, I did NOT order the petite as I feel that petite outerwear tends to dig a bit into the armpit area. The coat itself is of very good quality. Not too heavy, but strong fluff. The inner cuffs of the sleeves and the lining of the pockets are made of fleece. We have the blue one and it's a nice navy blue (not navy blue) with a slight sheen.
