KC HiLiTES 4206 Replacement Reflector Review

If you bought a set of thin kc lines, it will fit. I first bought radiators and wanted a different radiation pattern. They fit perfectly and cost less than half of a new KCS kit.

Didn't think my old KC lenses were that bad. Until I bought this baby. Good gracious! There was only one left to replace the broken lens. Will order a second one anytime!

This is the second pick I have bought. Excellent replacement for a branded X 6 inch round lens from another manufacturer. Bought a second lens to replace an old brown lens on a second class X light node. I love the KC.

Very nice hull, they were used on a police cruiser to replace bad unity modules and they fit right into 6 inch hulls, they look nice and honestly offer a more direct spot beam than the unity .

KC Fog Light Glass Lens/Reflector looks good quality and I'm sure it will work well in KC fog light cups but will not fit the factory Jeep TJ fog light cup. The Jeep part has a thin bezel around the lamp that snaps onto the Jeep faceplate. The KS flashlight has a wide rim, which makes it impossible to fit in the bezel without major modifications. I'm not arguing with the COP but it doesn't fit my Jeep TJ.

My old ones melted when the light was accidentally turned on with vinyl covers on. Apparently 100w bulbs put out enough heat to melt plastic and glass. These replacement parts were smaller than the manufacturer's orders and are the same part. So no more driving around with vinyl sleeves. The reason for only 4 stars is that the rubber spacer was very difficult to install between the stone guard (which holds the assembly together) and the lens.

These lenses fit snugly in the bodies of the KC day lighters I've had for years! The headlights I had had a long range (pencil beam) and after years of use I decided it would be nice to have a wider beam. They worked perfectly. I also upgraded to 130w KC bulbs and the light in front of my truck is amazing! A good estimate is that they are 5 times brighter than the stock high beam. They don't reach pencil beam daylights, but still reach three times further than standard spotlights.

I edited this review on 11/27/2012 and hope it replaces my previous review as I was wrong about these lights. KC HiLite are good flashlights. In late 2010 I ordered a set of Daylighters and installed them on a Setina bumper that was installed on a 2008 Ford Crown Vic squad car. They offer an excellent light with an ultra-long range.
