Doesn't work for my application.

The latch bolt is riveted to the lock mechanism. Others I've bought in the past have threaded mounts. This is useful if the length of the latch is incorrect or otherwise bent. On others I've bought, you can change the latch and use a new lock. Please note that this is not possible with this device. .
