Straight to the point - this is a great buy at $16. Looks great in the kitchen and easy to clean. If you think it's hard to groom then boy's life must be really easy for you. As for the grind, it's really up to the user to define the overall grind of the beans. I get a good coarse grind by using grind jerks instead of holding it for long. At the same time, I really like that it's quiet while sanding so as not to wake up my whole house in the morning. It gets the job done pretty quickly too, so if you're in a rush in the mornings this is perfect. In addition, there is a handle on the bottom of this grinder that you can wrap around the cord to avoid unwanted sagging. All in all a great purchase and I would highly recommend it to both coffee drinkers and regular coffee drinkers alike.
