engine in winter. I couldn't see it and thought it would eventually fall out. Well, what he did was wedge himself under the fan blades, preventing them from turning, and burning the fan motor. I didn't know about it until the summer when the car overheated and I removed the old fan to replace with a new Dorman fan. In any case, I installed the fan assembly with little effort and it has worked flawlessly for the last year and a half. Definitely recommend.
