Review on πŸ₯› 2 Quart Heavy Glass Milk Bottle: 64 Oz, 1/2 Gallon Size with Handle & Cap by Donnie King

4 years more!

I originally bought two of these in 2016 to replace unhealthy plastic pitchers and quickly added two more. We use them to store iced tea, juice and sodas and I love that three of them fit perfectly in my fridge door. Cleaning is easy with a bottle brush and soapy water or in the dishwasher. Yes, some caps do break over time and pens can break with repeated use, but The Dairy Shoppe sells replacement caps and pens for pennies here on Revain. Today I just replaced two lids that were cracked and two handles that were broken. It's not that bad how much we've used and abused these bottles in four years! The new grips are easy to slip around the neck after briefly dipping them in boiling water to soften them. I therefore recommend purchasing replacement caps and pens to have on hand when purchasing these new pens. In four years, only one bottle has cracked because I put too hot tea in the fridge too early. These bottles are great for hot tea straight from the brew, we just learned to leave them on the counter and cool before putting them in the fridge. At first I was worried that my youngest would fight with these bottles and break them. I bought it when he was 3, now he's 7 and when the bottle isn't full he takes it and helps himself with no problem. They also survived being awkwardly grabbed by me with my non-dominant hand, totally dependent on the grip, after breaking my wrist with my dominant hand last year. Then two of our handles failed. So these bottles are winners in our home and have stood the test of time.
