Review on ChargerCity Spring Vehicle Garmin 2589LMT by David Amarelo

I use this with a magnetic phone holder from another mount (17mm ball mount is pretty standard for pivoting things like GPS, GoPro, phone mounts) and it works great my 2005 Subaru Impreza. I've tried about 7 different vent mounts and this is the sturdiest. Usually with a simple friction on the vent ribs they catch and you can pull them out easily and even if they do get a snag at the end they are usually quite small and can easily slip off or break. Thanks to this, I can remove my phone from the magnet without fear of tearing off the mount as well. The little plastic foot really helps stabilize it. It's easy enough to remove if you need to (you just have to pull back on the plastic tensioner to loosen the spring tension), but I wouldn't recommend doing this often as you don't want to deform the springs.
