My old dryer, over 10 years old, finally died when the cord shorted out and a small spark erupted (nothing serious - thank goodness!) so it was time for the time to get a new one. I went shopping and this Panasonic had the best reviews for the price and I am very happy with my purchase! I immediately noticed the lower weight compared to my old dryer, so my arm doesn't get tired anymore - nice. It also dries my very thick and coarse hair in about half the time. Removing lint on the back is also much easier with this device. It folds up nicely and takes up less space in my bathroom drawer.
