These nail files are more decorative than useful and I don't know who cares about decorative nail files. I file my nails all the time. The ones I had before were worn out so I bought them thinking they were cheap. Turns out they don't last long. I worked for about a week. My nails can cut through the board (never experienced that). The roughness that aids in filing the nail wears down and causes it to just not work. I won't buy this again.
