I work in construction and drive an SUV so I don't have much space in the trunk. My tools were originally stored in canvas bags and they took up all the space in my trunk as well as on the rear folding seat as I couldn't fold the bags without damaging the tools. I bought l-BOXX 1A, 2, 3 and 4 to fit all my tools and they worked great! and circular saws in the L-Boxx 4 and the box is only half full. In my trunk all the boxes are stacked in a column and I have pushed them to the side so they don't tip over corners etc. i.e. The only downside I found with big boxes like 3 and 4 was that the sides flex a bit, so when you try to snap the box onto the big boxes, one of the latches will snap and the other will bend at times to the side and is not fixed. So keep an eye on this, otherwise you might try to get the whole stack without locking all the boxes together. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a modular stackable storage solution.
