I switched my analog smoker controller to digital.

I bought this device to digitally control my analog electric smoker. The analog controller on my electric smoker required a lot of attention to keep the temperature anywhere near the desired temperature. It is influenced by the heat of the smoke pellets and the temperature of the food. By adding WILLHI WH-1803 I can control the temperature in a narrow range and be sure it is the same as I set it. Temperature setting is easy. If I need 225 degrees, I set the switch-on temperature to 224 degrees and the switch-off temperature to 226 degrees. The device turned on and off exactly according to the program. The smoker will exceed these temperatures on the low and high sides due to the thermal lag of the heating element and the bulk of the food and appliance. After a while of cooking, the overcooking decreased. However, the WH-1803b got the job done and controlled the cooking temperature. The most important thing for me is that I no longer have to constantly monitor the temperature of the device. This gives me an opportunity to ensure the pellets are smoking and there is water in the water pan. and of course attention to the preparation of meat. I bought WH-1803b. Both 1803a and b operate at 1500 watts for a smoker. But block 1803b rose to 572 degrees versus 230 degrees for 1803a. I don't often cook at this high temperature, but I do cook at 250 or 275 degrees, which the 1803a doesn't offer. I recommend this block.
