difficult to install and poor design nearly hydrolocked my engine

Ok let me start with the compatibility first, the snorkel was installed last year and immediately, the passenger side side panel does not come out of the panel causing the Fairing deformed. This causes the fender flare clips to slip randomly, creating a separation between the body and the flares. The next problem is that no matter how far you slide the manifold heat shield back, it never penetrates far enough to clear the aluminum tube, causing the fender to pop out. I run 37 inch tires and they rub. I spent hours modifying the fender liner and quarter panel to make this system work. I went off-road and checked the system to find out it wasn't working. The system is water. Celebration. However, the lower airbox is designed to seal the standard upper airbox, which is attached with the included clamps. These clamps will NOT create an adequate seal between the two pieces and the filter to allow water/dirt to enter the intake manifold. I just finished cleaning the intake manifold and throttle body leaving a poorly constructed pipe and a cut off side panel. I am now ordering a new panel quarter and AEV tube, which is what I should have done from day one.
