The device may have been defective but here is what I experienced. The device arrived well packaged and protected. Stopped block to protect piston and bubble wrap. No problem. The first step was to put a famous £300 source on it. I saw immediately that the gauge/scale was stuck when I put a weight on the piston. He was the first to stop at #80 when full weight was applied. I then tapped the sensor and it jumped to #210 and got stuck. I tapped it again and it got stuck somewhere at 220 and never got close to 300. Then I applied the known source #900 to it. Again the sensor stuck in about 4 or 5 places. I keep clicking on it to continue. Eventually, expecting it to peak at #900, it suddenly went wild. When removing all the waiting, it also gets stuck in the other direction. At the end of my testing, it stuck at about 150 pounds with no weight until I reset the gauge to zero. Almost useless device. i will return it I hope it was just a bad block and others don't have my experience but I will try another brand.
