Good for the price and functionality

Good for the price and in the right place - a great budget option. The shelf does not protect the speaker, so buy one with the understanding that the speaker can be knocked over. The base is wide enough that it can safely withstand a bump or accidental bump, but that's also thanks to the rubber feet on the bottom of the speaker. Wall anchors are pretty cheap and easy to remove, so I decided to use my own. There are three holes that attach the panel to the wall and the instructions were limited, although figuring out how to install it properly isn't hard. I would suggest fitting an anchor and screw at a time to ensure they are level once completed. There's a cable port in the back, but make sure the cable lays flat when rolled up to make the most of storage space. I was able to wrap all the extra cable and attach it to the wall without zip ties and it looks neat. This shelf is perfect for a location where the speaker is limited to the impossibility of accidental contact. I would buy it again, just wish it didn't come with 10 cent dowels and maybe double sided tape so you could line up the holes while the shelf is attached to the wall without holding it with one hand and with the to work for others

Pros
  • Hands free operation
Cons
  • May cause injury
