I don't know about you, but my husband's coat is heavy. Only his coat broke two sleeves of my hanger. I bought it because it attaches to the wall and not just a wall mount. It is also designed to store shoes. I put a couple of pairs of shoes on the shelves and didn't like how messy it looked so we won't be using the shoe racks. Otherwise I like it. Hopefully the weight of his coat won't knock him off the wall anytime soon with the anchor (included). I would recommend this item. Note: My husband's coat is NOT pictured. The coat, hung by the neck (and not by the hat), barely touches the top shelf.
