Good reading lamp: book lamps
My son needs a reading lamp. He attached it to the headboard and liked it very much. The gooseneck wasn't as long as I expected, but that wasn't a problem. It uses softer yellow light and is very suitable for reading. The light is big enough to easily light up an entire page, which is something I've never liked about book lights. However, there is an outlet nearby so you can leave it plugged in.
