Yes, the part is tiny and should cost 65 cents. But for my 2008 Pathfinder, the shifter cable was $50 and would have required a lot more work and more work under the car. Shipping to a workshop costs at least $200. So $28 with next-day delivery via Prime was a steal. It took 5 minutes to remove the Pathfinder console and remove the retaining clip on the shifter cable - this should have made it more accessible. It took about 5 minutes to mount the bushing on the bare gear cable with a tool. The hardest part was getting the grommet end of the cable over the derailleur post, as it's harder to access on the Pathfinder. But with the help of a wide slotted screwdriver he finally pushed himself onto the counter. Then I put the cable back in and pressed the clamp again - that's important! The last two steps took about 15 minutes. A good thing.
