The charge lasts a long time
I put 4 of these in the kitchen 6 weeks ago and only now have to recharge them - and my kitchen is very busy! These lamps are better than I expected! I keep them on their lowest brightness and they give just the right amount of light when you don't want to turn on the overhead light. Motion detection is enough to let you pass without waving your hand to turn them on, and they'll stay on as long as you're moving there (e.g. having coffee in the morning or eating something late at night). I believe they are also light sensitive in the sense that given enough light (from above or sunlight) they won't light up. These lights are exactly what I wanted to illuminate the kitchen under the cabinet!
