I have a super picky Newfoundland that goes nuts for freeze dried raw food, and she absolutely loves this particular Instinct Freeze Dried Raw Dog Food. She was sniffing at the bag and getting excited the second I got it.As she's so gigantic, I reconstitute a small amount of this in warm water and let it soak for several minutes, and then use as a topper over her regular food - otherwise, this smaller sized bag would not last her very long. That said, if you are adding water each time to this stuff (and you have more of a smaller to medium sized dog), it will last a LOT more than simply feeding it dry - but you can do it either way, depending on what your dog likes. My Newfie won't eat anything that doesn't taste or smell good to her, and she eats this up quite enthusiastically - so the flavor apparently works for her. The ingredient quality is excellent, and the fact that she eats it without any hesitation whatsoever (along with her regular food, which is hit or miss sometimes by itself) makes it a new favorite in our household. It gets two paws up from us!
