Review on ๐Ÿ”ฅ Lutron SFSQ-F-LA Skylark Single Pole Slide-To-Off 3-Speed Fan Control, Light Almond - Efficient and Stylish Fan Control for Ultimate Comfort by Eddie Kittylovin

A bit shaky if you have a remote installed.

The product is very easy to install. I used to have a toggle (on/off) switch on the wall to control the fan. The fan light is on a separate wall switch. I also have a portable wireless remote that was only connected to the fan components. The light was not connected to a remote control and could only be controlled with a wall switch (although the remote control has a light function). I didn't want to remove the remote wiring at the base of the fan so I installed a new wall, set it to full speed and then set the fan ON at full speed with the remote. Then I tested the installed wall switch. Is working. Just not without complaints. Turning on the fan requires you to set the wall switch to full speed and then decrease speed from there. Boosting from off to low or medium and back doesn't work at all. The fan wall switch only works when it is fully on and then reduces performance. So Low, Mid and Off work, but only after full speed is reached. I have a Hampton Bay fan. My guess is that if I remove the wireless remote control box installed in the fanbase the switch may have full functionality, but I haven't tried that and probably won't. The switch looks nice and I rarely adjust the fan so minor inconveniences aren't really an issue. The only thing I didn't like was the ugly wall hanger that the remote control sits in, otherwise it's just another remote control to lose. Better in a box. Just a note. Completely A against a wall. The wireless remote control is fully functional (up and down) but will not work with any other wall setup.
