Replace the exact same switch I broke - Lutron SFSQ-F-LA Skylark 1.5A Single Pole Pull Switch 3 - Fan Speed Control, Light Almond . Couldn't find the color I wanted at my local hardware store. Arrived on time, unpacked, color matched. Works great, but what can I say, it's a 3-position fan switch.

Couldn't believe I couldn't find an Almond or Ivory ceiling fan switch at any of the hardware stores; only white. Revain comes back and even got it the next day after ordering. Easy to install and glad to see the extra ground wire is already in place. Would rate it 5 stars if the braid was 1 or 2 inches longer. The consumer can always shorten the wire, but making it longer or dealing with short wires is PITA.

I bought these to replace another product that has delighted our fans. This item was easy to install, wires were pre-stripped but no faceplate. No fan knock at any speed. Please note that these are 3 speed controls and not stepless. I find the price a bit high but I couldn't find them in any major or neighboring hardware store. Lutron makes a fully adjustable controller, but it's a lot more expensive.

This fan controller works great with my 3 speed ceiling fan and is easy to install. I didn't like my old rotary knob controller because it confuses people which way is in/faster and which way is out. Everything is simple with the slider control: everything that is below is turned off, and the higher the slider, the faster the fan runs. This means you no longer have to wait to see if the fan will slow down when you turn it off.

The product is very easy to install. I used to have a toggle (on/off) switch on the wall to control the fan. The fan light is on a separate wall switch. I also have a portable wireless remote that was only connected to the fan components. The light was not connected to a remote control and could only be controlled with a wall switch (although the remote control has a light function).
