If you've been trying to find a "Fan Only" wall switch for your ceiling fan, you've probably realized that there aren't many options. I wonder why manufacturers have such a hard time believing that some of us only need a fan! All of my light switches are called "rocker switches" which act like a seesaw, meaning you press the bottom to turn it off and the top to turn it on. Well it was almost impossible for me to find a fan only rocker switch so I went with this guy and was happy. It looks like it only slides up and down, but it has cutouts or stops that allow the fan to have three positions. Speed plus off I didn't expect that. It's quiet, easy to use, and pretty damn cheap when you consider fan/light alternatives.
