Don't get me wrong...this bottle contains a lot of things I like and love. Appearance is very attractive to me. Unfortunately I think this is a dry run to test its appeal for the US market as EVERYTHING except for the BPA information (which is proudly displayed as if worthy of being decorative) is in Chinese. All water sizes are also listed in metric units, giving you 25 ounces (about 3 cups) instead of the standard 32 ounce (4 cup) capacity you'd normally expect. The bottle is attractive and has nice silicone grips around the body. and cover. It also has a clean look. It's hard plastic, though, so I'm concerned about its ability to withstand a small drop. This remains to be seen. At first I was disappointed in the lack of a lock until I realized that the lock is not a separate mechanism. It's actually the top of the button you press to open the lid. It slides down to lock and up to open. The bottle doesn't leak, but the cap worries me because it seems too easy to accidentally open it. Finally, while the cap has a nice, sturdy handle, the bottle lacks the essential strap and carabiner that would make it handy and easy to carry when commuting or traveling. I'm going to make a paracord strap for this, but there's no way to easily attach it to a backpack or belt loop.
