It was VERY difficult to close them once you put them in your ear... I swapped out the clasp for the plain black ones I have. Sometimes I'll take a snake off completely and hang it on a cool black leather rope or metal chain! Universally cool and quirky if you know how to make jewelry and have the right tools!
