-UPDATED- (7 months later) Review - Great value for budget conscious streamers/YouTubers

This is a first time review meaning these are my thoughts on the product in just a few days. happens within the next few weeks or months I will update my review to reflect the situation. So far so good, they seem to get bright enough and light up my face well. In terms of brightness, they offer 10 levels of brightness. .When enabled, you can increase or decrease the brightness in 10% increments, with the lowest brightness level being 10% and the highest brightness being 100%, which is 10 brightness levels. As for the quality of the materials, I considered giving it three stars but decided it was unfair for the price so I'm giving four stars instead. than the acceptable quality of the material. The only second component encountered is the part that connects the LED panel to the stand, and the other connector is at the top of the stand. I'm not sure what other people have complained about them not being balanced when fully extended, but maybe they didn't set them up correctly or on a flat surface, fully extended they stand great for me. It's not too heavy though, so there's a chance they're more likely to fall over if the environment you're planning to place them in is wind-resistant, sloping surfaces, or moving surfaces, and I highly recommend installing something of your own design in order to hold on to the base and make it heavier if you plan to use it in unusual conditions. stable environment. In terms of versatility I rate them 4 stars, they aren't the most versatile but they offer a wide range of pan and tilt based on two connectors that allow you to shine from almost any angle, the only reason why they instead get 4 stars out of 5 in this aspect is due to their maximum height not being the highest and also what I mentioned above about the overall weight of the product. Finally, I strongly recommend that you quote the product specs if they state that these panels require 5V and 2.0A over USB. Connecting to lower voltage and lower current USB ports may cause the product to malfunction. Lowering the voltage and current, and thereby properly adjusting the output power so that it only uses what the device requests, will most likely result in you burning and destroying it. As such, I strongly recommend that any USB ports you wish to connect to ensure that they supply at least 5V and 2.0A, and if they supply more, that they are properly designed to be downgraded can be used to provide only what is needed by the device. Plug them into a 2-port USB adapter that will deliver up to 5V and 2.1A, but I know it's well made and only second to what's asked of it, a device that requires less than it can provide. If you're wondering what USB wall adapter I'm using, it's the Ailkin brand here on Revain and it's a 3-pack for $11. In terms of filters, here's what you get: two of each, one for each panel. Red, blue, yellow and white. The red, blue, and yellow filters are thin and mostly transparent, allowing light to pass through easily while coloring the light. However, white is a thicker plastic that is softened by white and used as a diffuse layer to scatter light. leaves the panel. As long as the white diffuser panel is in place, you have enough space to place a single color filter in front of it, meaning if you want to double a color or mix two or all three colors in the light, you'll need to remove the panel's diffusion from the light, but that is fine because if you have more than one color layer set, you'll end up diffusing the light source just enough so that it's not too harsh on the object you're using. lighting again. So to sum it up: they are bright. Overall a decent build for the price but relatively light. You get two of these for such a low price. They're USB powered, which makes them more versatile as you can either plug them into a PC's USB ports or into a 2-port USB network adapter like mine, so they don't use two sockets with fatter brick plugs or something need to be like that. All in all I give them a 5 star rating for what you get and for the price and I highly recommend them for entry level photographers on a budget when they need something quick and cheap but before especially for those on a budget who want good coverage for either live streaming or YouTube video creation. As mentioned at the beginning, this is the first release and if anything happens in the next few weeks or months I'll update this review. Thank you for reading. - UPDATE - It's been 7 months and they're still working great, of course they never move or separate from where I had them on my desk so there's no wear and tear moving them around.
