A great game is far from being a great product.

I will be reviewing the product, not the game itself. (We have EXTREMELY fun playing with the whole family and I think everyone should have a croquet set.) Now is this product the first - as everyone seems to say - when I first swung for the ball, white pieces flew. We still play with wood but you know it crushes balls. I grew up with a set of rubber tips and was pretty sad when our new $30 toy (which for me as a single mom doesn't come cheap) looked like it had been used for years. I'm proud of the things we own and it's not a happy situation. If I hadn't played this game with my kids, I'm sure someone would have gotten a lecture on respectful use of toys. I never would have thought that it could break at the slightest blow. Now for the bag โ€“ it comes with a case. That's nice. But it would be really nice if everything fits into the bag when assembled. When you put the ends on the hammers, they no longer fit into the body. I don't want my kids picking them up and taking them apart every time. It would be a nightmare, and in no time you'd be ripping the wood off. So we leave one end open and they stick out at the top like a golf bag. We're having a great time playing with it. At least 2-4 times a day this week! It's spring now and it's the perfect game to get us together in the great outdoors and busy in our smaller suburban backyard. However. this product is not that great. I really wanted it.
