First off, it's a TON of hair ties - I'll never run out of them. There are different colors for every hair color. I love how stretchy and seamless they are. It's not a fabric-covered elastic that will stretch and tear over time, it's a solid piece of stretchy fabric that won't rip on you. My hair is thick and heavy and I have a hard time finding hair ties that can be wrapped often enough. to hold my hair but it's so elastic it's not a problem. One downside of stretch is that my ponytails always look limp but still stay up. If you have very thick hair, I suggest doubling the scrunchie.
