Review on πŸ”Œ Echogear Off-White Cable Concealer: Wall Mounted TV Cord Management Kit with Pass Through Grommets, Locking Brackets, and Drill Attachment by Shane Minter

Looks professional / super easy - recommended!

I've used other similar solutions to run cables through the wall and make the TV installation look professional (I'm just a home user so I'm new to this stuff). I went with this solution and am very impressed. Although I was a bit nervous about drilling fairly large holes in my wall, they made it easy enough as the kit also included the large round drill bit needed to get the perfect hole. It really took me about 10 minutes or less to figure out where to drill 2 holes. Once the holes were drilled it was just a matter of lowering the cables down the wall, inserting the cable management plates into the holes and tightening the 4 screws (2 on each plate). The construction feels solid because after I tightened the screws, the panels pressed very tightly against the wall. The screws are hidden behind a rubber ring around the plate. It was a little tricky getting the power plug through the slot in the plate, but it's actually a good thing since you don't want a lot of slack there when you're pulling the cord through. I would order them again if I ever needed to run more cables through my wall.

Pros
  • Ideal for hiding HDMI, Aux and other low voltage cables. Also suitable for flush-mounted power cables. Just make sure your dog didn't chew them in the first place.
Cons
  • boring packaging
