I didn't install it on the Sportster like I was supposed to. back to rating. Bought this after much deliberation, nobody seems to make a bigger sissy bar for my wife's Vulcan 500 so we decided to give it a try. With a few modifications to the mounting plate (2 new holes drilled) she has outfitted her bike with almost nothing to 'tweak'. I suggest buying better hardware and as a side note the backrest needs to be installed with some screws and you need to align it yourself without starting holes. The cover is not outstanding, but of good quality,
