Five stars for the case but two stars for the foam inserts as the money I saved on the case more than offset by the need to replace the foam immediately became. Wish lists would better explain the foam configuration as it's all over the map and something important. While complex shapes can be set for multi-level props, for my use it simply means that they always fall in and out with gear. The Pluck foam consists of several layers of thinner foam, not quite, even most of the depth, plus a liner. A very thin outer band covers the outside diameter. If the foam were thicker it would look nice, but instead it means the foam rises every time I take something out of the case, often requiring me to shake the device to get rid of the foam when my hands are busy are. It also means that you have to shop big when buying by size. If you get close to the edge, which I've had to do in several places, the thin bezel tears easily, and if you're very careful not to tear it you still end up with a brittle edge that collapses and offers little support and get closer and closer out with the gear. Even more difficult was that the pieces of foam were very attached, eventually requiring careful and slow application of a razor to set it up without incident, and it's massive compared to the hardware I already store in it. The case itself seems solid, decent clasp. Not sure about water resistance, haven't found any research to see if there's a choice.
