Review on ๐Ÿ’ก Compact and Portable WV201: Lightweight Power with Detachable Design by Adam Martinez

Another well thought out product with a modern flashlight

I recently switched from Hoovers and Black and Decker vacuums in my house. Not only do later Hoover vacuums seem to have quality issues, they aren't as powerful as Shark vacuums. Black and Decker handheld vacuums have been the leaders in portable vacuums, but Shark's smart design and stronger suction power are the clear winners among them. I usually use these handheld vacuums for the car or for odd things around the house. They're great for grabbing loose hair or if you accidentally spilled some flour or protein powder on the counter. The Shark ION W1 is another great handheld vacuum. It's an interesting design, but it has a nice low, thin profile. You can see in my photos how much thinner it is compared to my old Shark. The suction power is strong. It performs just as well, if not more, than my old Shark handheld vacuum. The charging cradle also holds attachments (see my attached photos). This is another area where Shark seems to spend time inventing something new rather than sticking with the old, tried-and-true design. The size and weight are perfect to keep your hand from tiring with long-term use. It's also fairly easy to clean and empty the dirt bin with the quick release buttons. The problem with hand vacuum cleaners is known to be the size of the dust container.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • weak
