I'm allergic to almost all hair dye so I henna it. The process sucks. The thick, smelly mud is almost impossible to get through my thick hair. Then I leave it for two hours. It will be hard and crispy. Tip: Mist your hair with water every now and then as you go through this hell. Otherwise it dries like cement and you risk pulling out a few hairs. But the color is good and covers my gray hair. Medium Brown - DARK. Not at first, but after a few uses it really sticks. I switched to light brown for my medium brown hair. I will continue to use it.
