FINALLY a salt grinder that works with my coarse himalayan sea salt, I also added some mixed peppercorns not sure if you should but works great. The only thing I would change is that a finer grind can be achieved. It is already set to the finest grind. Much easier than using a mortar and pestle, which works for most of my needs. Glass mills with plastic grinding stones kept breaking. The first time this happened we threw away all the food, mistakenly thinking someone must have broken a glass near the cooking area. They were actually parts of a plastic cutter. This grinder solves all of those problems! I use these cute little terracotta or glass yogurt containers to keep them inside so the salt doesn't spill all over my countertops.
