This thermometer is best for checking the temperature of frozen food. The tiny probe easily penetrates frozen meat. The packaging is in very bad condition. Most packages are already corrupted. Bought 16 at once. The temperature difference of all 16 blocks is below 1F.2019 on May 25th. To date I have purchased over 50 Cooper Atkins DPP 800W thermometers from this seller. one out of 50 arrived with a damaged probe. Another thermometer has detected a problem with the auto power on/off. Another found a problem with the Celsius/Fahrenheit button. This was also evident after 4.5 months of use. Overall I can say that this is one of the best thermometers in this range. I trust this device. Very accurate and durable, except for two that broke during operation. Didn't show any other temperature.
