Review on Toshiba MK1246GSX Internal Notebooks HDD2D91 by Shane Loredo

Buyers should pay attention to this product advertising!

On October 18, 2013 I purchased the aforementioned Toshiba hard drive from Dulcet LLC. According to the ad, the hard drive was an "unqualified" NEW hard drive. So I expected the hard drive to be factory boxed and sealed. Instead, I received the hard drive in open ESD packaging, which was resealed with adhesive tape from the HDTV provider Aficionadovendor. First, a hard drive wrapped in tape-sealed packaging is not my idea of a new hard drive. Second, I'm not sure how HDTV Aficionado was able to fulfill the contract since HDTV was never mentioned in the Revain ad. Since receiving the goods, HDTV has maintained that the advertisement stated that the hard drive had been removed from another computer. Only the packing slip that came with the delivery on October 21, 2013 indicated that the hard drive had been removed from another computer. None of my order documents stated that the hard drive had been removed. I asked HDTV to send me a boxed and sealed hard drive, but HDTV didn't respond to my request. HDTV expected me to cover shipping costs. However, on 10/28/2013 I sent the hard drive back to HDTV via USPS at my own expense. In my view, if HDTV wants to perform a contract for another supplier, it has to fulfill the original obligations of the contract. My credit card issuer has been notified to dispute this transaction. Eventually it turned out that the seller didn't have or wasn't willing to ship a new hard drive, so I filed a claim with Revain. Revain investigated, canceled the entire transaction and refunded my money on October 30, 2013. Thank you Revain!
